A Photographer Focused on Results

I’m Herman Bosman, a professional photographer with more than 16 years of experience photographing homes, architecture, people, and places.

In early 2026 my family and I moved from South Africa to Boise, Idaho to start our lives from scratch in this incredible State. Starting fresh in a new country is both exciting and humbling, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to build new relationships here in the Treasure Valley.

Photography has been my profession since 2008. Over the years I’ve photographed thousands of properties and worked with a wide range of clients, from individual homeowners and real estate agents to architects, interior designers, and international hospitality brands including Marriott Hotels.

Now based in Boise, I’m excited to bring that experience to clients throughout the Treasure Valley.

My Approach

Every shoot has a purpose.

Sometimes that purpose is helping a home attract buyers and generate showings.
Sometimes it’s documenting the craftsmanship of a designer or builder.
Sometimes it’s capturing a portrait that represents someone at an important stage of their life or career.

My goal is always the same: to represent your home, project, product, or brand in the most visually compelling way possible.

That means paying close attention to composition, light, perspective, and detail while also making the experience relaxed and straightforward for the people I work with.

From Starter Homes to Luxury Properties

Real estate photography has always been the backbone of my work.

Over the years I’ve photographed everything from modest starter homes to luxury estates, boutique hotels, and commercial developments. What matters to me isn’t the price of the property, but the responsibility of showcasing it in the most visually compelling way possible.

Whether it’s a small home, a large property, or a hospitality space, my goal is always the same: create images that help the property stand out and attract the right attention.

Now Based in Boise

Boise is an incredible place to begin again. My family and I look forward to discovering the Treasure Valley, from the Boise Greenbelt to the surrounding foothills, and becoming part of this special community and people.
